REGISTERED NURSE/REGISTERED PSYCHIATRIC NURSE (Casual Positions)

As the charge nurse on a shift, you will assess resident needs; develop and modify care plans; evaluate resident outcomes; and provide holistic hands-on nursing care. You will liaise with families as well as recreation and support staff, administer medication, plan care and direct the work of Health Care Aides. As the successful applicant, you have demonstrated expertise in nursing practice, including highly developed communication, negotiation, team building and interpersonal skills. Recent clinical experience in a continuing care setting or supportive living environment is required, as is registration with the appropriate licensing body.

 

LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (Full-Time, Part-Time and Casual Positions)

In addition to providing resident care, you will help to evaluate residents’ needs, develop care plans, administer medications and supervise the care provided by Health Service Aides. As the successful applicant, you have demonstrated expertise and recent clinical experience in a continuing care setting or supportive living environment.

 

LAUNDRY AIDE (0.60 FTE Position)

Performs manual and machine operating tasks involving sorting, washing, drying, pressing, mending and delivering clothing and linens to residents and departments.


HOUSEKEEPER (Full-Time, Part-Time and Casual Positions)

Housekeeping duties include cleaning, dusting, vacuuming and other related duties.

 

DIETARY AIDE (Full-Time, Part-Time and Casual Positions)

Dietary duties include food preparation, preparing trays, dishwashing and light cleaning in the kitchen and dining area.

 

HEALTH CARE AIDES (Part-time and Casual)

Under the overall direction of a charge nurse, you will provide personal care to promote each resident’s ability to function as independently as possible. HCA Certification, a caring attitude and a passion for exceeding expectations equip you for success in this career opportunity. Completion of an approved Medication Administration Course is an asset. Current C.P.R. and Emergency First Aid Certification are required.
